I ran out of toothpaste on Sunday morning. Then I forgot about it, didn't buy a replacement tube, and had to use baking soda and spearmint essential oil last night and this morning.
BLECH. It works fine, but the texture is unpleasant.
I didn't have a headache until about 5 minutes ago, when I went to look at a freshly painted office and WHAM. Paint fumes + me = massive headache. Now I want to go have a lie down.
Too bad I can't do that on a new sofa. I had no luck this weekend, and will forge out again at a later date. Sofa shopping is exhausting. Everything has to be just right: style, dimensions, price. Getting that trifecta is a lot more difficult than it seems it should be.
Muse has left me again. She's so fickle. Will go buy toothpaste and hope she returns by the time I get back.

Date: 2008-04-07 08:58 pm (UTC)So sorry about the headache. They repainted our offices back when I was pregnant. I simply refused to be there for those three days. But, being pregnant, no one said anything about it. I was also lucky enough able to work from home, but it wouldn't have mattered.
Sofa shopping. UGH! I know the feeling. I tend to buy big items like that and then use them until they literally fall apart. My current disaster is over 20 years old and was used when we bought it. I've got the money in the bank right now to buy a new one, but I can't find one I'm willing to risk the next 20 or 30 years of my life living with. :-)

Date: 2008-04-07 09:24 pm (UTC)I hate that I can go from fine to laid up with major pain in seconds. :( I thought maybe a walk would help, but I've come back and feel worse.
I hate shopping for big items in general. It's a logistics thing, partially. Being carless, I only have a certain few places to go that are convenient and slowly circle out as I go. And I still love the loveseat, but it's just too darned short. It will be better this go-around, since I can actually see what I'm going to get and not have to imagine it. My problem with dimensions was how I ended up with such a short loveseat.
