I ran out of toothpaste on Sunday morning. Then I forgot about it, didn't buy a replacement tube, and had to use baking soda and spearmint essential oil last night and this morning.

BLECH. It works fine, but the texture is unpleasant.

I didn't have a headache until about 5 minutes ago, when I went to look at a freshly painted office and WHAM. Paint fumes + me = massive headache. Now I want to go have a lie down.

Too bad I can't do that on a new sofa. I had no luck this weekend, and will forge out again at a later date. Sofa shopping is exhausting. Everything has to be just right: style, dimensions, price. Getting that trifecta is a lot more difficult than it seems it should be.

Muse has left me again. She's so fickle. Will go buy toothpaste and hope she returns by the time I get back.

I've gotten to the point where I keep a travel toothbrush and toothpaste in my desk drawer at work. I'm *so* bad about remembering to restock stuff like toothpaste. :-) One of these days I'll actually get around to buying two or three at a time and then *maybe* if I get used to that, I'll be restocking the cabinet instead of the counter shelf. :-)

So sorry about the headache. They repainted our offices back when I was pregnant. I simply refused to be there for those three days. But, being pregnant, no one said anything about it. I was also lucky enough able to work from home, but it wouldn't have mattered.

Sofa shopping. UGH! I know the feeling. I tend to buy big items like that and then use them until they literally fall apart. My current disaster is over 20 years old and was used when we bought it. I've got the money in the bank right now to buy a new one, but I can't find one I'm willing to risk the next 20 or 30 years of my life living with. :-)

I keep thinking I might just get a couple of big chairs and forgo the whole sofa thing completely. My living room is tiny. There's room for a sofa, but gah, I don't know.

That's the primary reason I haven't just done it.

And then the little voice in the back of my head whispers... "reliiiiiiiiners". ;-)

They're great for napping, though.

On the other hand, depending on what *size* spare bed you need to have, there are chairs that make out into single beds.

I have always avoided that, personally, but it is possible. :-)

Ponderous pondering on potentially practical purchase and possession of pretty paraphernalia providing a place to perch.

LOL! You have no idea how hard it was to come up with something for furniture that started with "p". ;-)
