I nearly busted a gut this afternoon after going to that website you pointed out -- I saw, in a parking lot, a ginormous Silverado flatbed truck (the kind that needs a stepladder to get into) with FOUR -- count 'em *FOUR* -- of those large magnetic "Support Our Troop" yellow ribbons on it.

I find those ribbons to be the most obnoxious, inneffectual brand of "nationalism" since people running around with flags hanging out their windows getting tattered.

Of course, people probably think the same thing about me "Impeach Bush" bumper sticker as well <g>

Is their something out there where you can show you support the troops just not the war?

I have a "Support Our Troops" ribbon on the back of a honkin' huge, gas-guzzling SUV.

Of course, it's a white ribbon, and there's a Stormtrooper head in the middle of it, so I don't think that counts...
