Count me in as one for whom this episode just gets better with age.
On the Jack blaming Daniel, I always just chalked that up to Jack needing to blame *someone* at the moment. He does that. He rarely means anything by it, it's social noise he uses to cover his own WTFness regarding the situation. ;-)
Besides, every time he blames Daniel on a mission, Daniel goes all alpha when they finally get home. ;-) (Sorry, slash hat got mixed in with the episode discussion hat. :-)
One of the things I loved about this ep from the first time around was that the writers actually bothered to let the characters scratch their heads and go "Huh?" with regard to the time frame these folks had to've been taken. I don't even CARE that they didn't solve that particular mystery. Just knowing that they knew it was there was good enough for me.
