I think it was because they, for some reason, gave Daniel nothing to do but sit around looking dazed (and adorable, btw) and Carter also kind of just tagged along...until she started edging toward Super!Sam to me. What, Daniel traipsing around getting shot was okay with his injury, but helping her was too much?
I know that was all weird. This was the first episode where I was slightly annoyed with Sam and felt that they were treating Daniel differently. I was pretty innocent then *g*, because I didn't know what was to come, but it bugged me because it felt like this episode had a big sign hung on it saying, "Daniel's the unimportant character; he's the chump." *g*
I also noticed not only SuperSam, but how it was only Sam who got to go rescue Jack. When I first watched it, I didn't like it, but it never occurred to me that it was supposed to be a bit shippy until much later. *g*
While I never liked this episode much, it also didn't really bother me, because it was only one episode. *g* I thought.
