I'm starting to worry that it was neither the glycolic acid nor the vitamin E that caused my eyes such trouble earlier this week. I stopped using both. The goopy, crusty, generally sore and bloodshot eyes happened anyway - more on days I wore my contacts.

The eyeballs are fine while I'm actually wearing the lenses, but after I take them out I start having issues. It's very strange and troubling.

Are they disposable contacts? Maybe you should move on to the next pair? Or maybe you should see your doctor...

Not disposable. I think next time I'm due for lenses, though, I'm going to try soft again.

It could also be the dryness you've been complaining about. We had our first real rain today that we've had in 13 months, and I swear I heard my skin sucking in moisture.
