And an anti-Bush one at that. They're really mucking up traffic, but I can't disagree with most of their signage. I'm still iffy about the whole immigrant rights fiasco. I like immigrants. I just think they should be legal, and if they're not then they should probably face some kind of reprimand.
But, yeah, down with the current administration. I don't think Bush is really the one we should be focused so much on, though. Puppet.

Date: 2006-10-06 05:53 am (UTC)I had an eye-opening conversation at work one day. Turned out most of the co-workers in the room were immigrants. All had come here legally except one. The legals were against giving illegals a break - felt everyone should go through the process (which they felt was pretty damn fair). To my surprise, the illegal immigrant (he was a kid when his family came here illegally), also agreed that no one should be rewarded for breaking the law. They came here illegally, and they managed to avoid the law until they became legal, but if they hadn't, he felt that would have been their tough luck.
I hadn't had a firm opinion on it before that - I mean, it's not a problem I've faced, so I can't judge - but that settled it in my mind.
