Two coworkers got the COVID. We have a total of 15 people in our office, but HR was all hush-hush, we can't say who it is... like we can't easily figure it out.
Yes, we all figured it out. It's the two people who have not been at work this week. Bwhaha!
What really cracks me up, though, is with the second reveal today, head honchos announced they would have the office professionally disinfected ... at the end of the day, assuring us the disinfectant kills everything in under an hour.
Which is all well and good, if you overlook the fact we sat in the office all week already anyway.
In other work related funnies, I did the classic accidental reply all today. Boss put out inquiry to all staff asking if we'd participate in a "summit" which would offer mini trainings... Having been to State-sponsored trainings, I replied that I thought it might be a waste of time and money, intending that only to go to MY boss. Not everyone else's bosses, and the whole agency staff. Ahem.
