Twenty-fifth Week
Jun. 21st, 2020 11:20 amIt's blooming flower week.

This morning, Walter and I came upon a wandering golden retriever. She was extremely sweet and playful, but clearly not one to be aware of her surroundings. I was worried she'd get hit by a car or dognapped. Neighbor up the street recognized her, so I took her home. The house has a veritable fortress of a back yard - unless they let her out I have no clue how she got out. :(
Then a bit ago I heard the clink of a dog's collar in my front yard. Walter went bananas. I put him in the kitchen then opened the door to say hi; this dog was from down the street. He took off running home, barking at ME as if I had been intruding on HIS yard. He kept barking from his own front porch, very chastising. LOL.
Found a wounded baby crow last night. I called the wildlife center immediately and had to leave a message, but did not go get the bird. I really wish I had. It was still there this AM, and was dead. Poor baby. :(
