Earlier in the week we met in groups to "brainstorm" ideas on how to keep the office running during these strange times. On the table were shift work, telecommuting. I declined the telecommuting - honestly, I can do it, but with the cats it'll be hard. Pickle LOVES to lay on my laptop.
Today I was basically told I'll be telecommuting. Yay? It'll be okay, just something to get used to and then when I'm used to it it'll be back to the chaos of the office.
Also, had a scheduled second mammogram AND ultrasound today. The person who called to confirm yesterday afternoon didn't seem particularly amused by my, "Rats, I thought you were calling to cancel!" Well, I thought it was funny, anyway.
Not funny is that I've got some clusters of cysts I didn't have before and will need to be back at the doc in six months. Then a year, then... if no growth, nothing, but if there are changes. Thing is, my family is simply prone to benign growths. Better safe than sorry, but ugh. Ultrasound only, which is good.

This young thing was dropped at the shelter on Wednesday. He was found in a known dump spot and has clearly had a rough go of it. This isn't a great photo and photos could never capture how absolutely sweet this cat is. I cannot fathom why anyone would EVER dump him to get beat up horribly and peed on by a pretty large feral population and starve. He's as emaciated as Abe was when I found him. :(
I love him. I want him SO. BAD.
