Nov. 17th, 2019 12:29 pmI bought a better shears with which to cut my hair. Fun fact: having better shears does not mean a person can cut a straight line.

Cat centric (shocker!) this week. I took loads yesterday but none of them were great. W and I walked along the river and it was very chilly/windy. I think I just couldn't be steady. W also does not like his new rain jacket at all, and will randomly just sit down and stare up at me dolefully. Which I suppose is better than balefully, though I couldn't blame him - I think the strap across his torso hits him right on ... delicate bits. Will try a smaller size, that might help. I'm dreadful at measuring him. I digress.
^Pretty little thing, highly skeptical of W.
^Walked a step too close to the black and white, he started to depart and ran smack into the tabby. Stand off. They did not tussle, but it was a near thing.
^Just a beautiful sunrise I knew would have faded by the time I got to a better view. This is from just in front of my house, lots of obstructions. Still magnificent.
^What a cutie kitty this one was. I didn't have W with me; makes all the difference in the world, as you can imagine. Got some love, then she carried up and I down.
I am still feeling lazy. I need to go replenish animal food, but the store is a whole mile away and I just don't want to go. Wah, poor me. I even slept until my alarm went off today (after 9!), which I usually never do. The alarm is just set so I don't actually laze all day but I am usually up and about long before it goes off. Heh.
