The Rain in Spain

That image is Walter's new take on rain. Last year, we'd walk for miles in the pouring rain with no problem. A couple of days ago, though, we went out in a light mist and ended up getting caught in a squall - we've been having that sort of off again mostly on again rain where the on again really is torrential and horrible. We were about five blocks from home when it happened and we both got soaked in about fifteen seconds despite wearing rain gear. Walter stood there looking at me with a tucked tail, shivering. Now when we go out if it is raining, Walter quickly does his business and turns right back around for home. Heh. I can't say I'm disappointed by that!

His expression is also how I feel when I went to comment on one of those "hey, you may like these posts" updates LJ has been fond of sending to inboxes and find that someone you don't even recall ever interacting with has banned you from commenting. Confusing!
