Snapshot Sunday 40
Oct. 13th, 2019 09:21 amSurely, I must be off on the week count. It feels too close to the home stretch for the year...
Have been watching OG (the ONLY) Magnum P.I. lately and I have to say it is refreshing to see realistic fight scenes rather than have it choreographed to death. We are so into the flash these days, everything has to be huge or, frankly, ridiculous/unbelievable. Like, a foot chase really has to involve parkour? Because everyone can do that. ::eyeroll:: Also, and I said this for the first season of Miami Vice too, the women's fashion is quite lovely. I wanted to find a blouse/skirt set a guest was wearing in the very first episode.
For real time shows, all I have to say about Supernatural is that after fifteen years you'd think they'd have learned to a) not lie when something is clearly wrong and 2) not act like toddlers when they're mad at someone. The last scene did make me want to go watch some baby Winchesters from the beginning, maybe through S5.

^I loved that painted rock trend from a couple of years ago. When I was a kid we'd paint rocks as gifts for our parents, and just for fun - not a treasure hunt/exchange kind of thing - so it reminded me of my youth. Was tickled to see someone's kids still doing it.

^LOL, I didn't even notice the bug till I pulled the photo from my camera.

^This cat reminds me of Pickle, but kind of in reverse. Black markings instead of grey, the left ear covered instead of right...oh, and polydactyl.
