Snapshot Sunday XXI
May. 27th, 2018 02:21 pmAttempted to replace the pop-up piece in my bathroom sink. In preparation, I watched several YouTube videos and thought I could do it. I think... some things I simply haven't got the strength to do. The guys on the videos made it look so simple, but I had nothing but issues, starting right away when I did something to the index finger of my left hand. I have a clue what I did, but I could tell instantly. Finger began to swell and soon I could barely bend it. Swelling has since gone down and now I'm left with slight purpling and some tenderness. I must have pinched something, because I did not feel any pain.
Gave up on that task, put the sink back together and instead went outside to putter around with the bindweed. Again, I have these vast ideas of what I'm going to accomplish, and then I run out of steam fast. I really need someone to just come dig out a nice swatch, and then I can work on filling it and making it look pretty. I'm afraid last year when my neighbor dug to install a hideous concrete fence, she didn't do my landscaping nightmare any favors. The one thing I didn't object to back there - holly tree - appears to have been killed by whatever she did. :( Wahh.
Anyway, after I filled up the yard waste bin I called it a day back there as well and am now sitting with a batch of henna on my hair.
Here are some of the photos taken during the last week. Maybe. Flickr is being buggy.

Japanese Wisteria? I think.
