Mmm, delicious!

Ran into a client yesterday after work while grocery shopping. It's always awkward. I said, "Hi" and pretty much got out of there, as I would with any client. She stopped in today and I got a big card filled with over the top apologies for stressing me out and bothering me, etc. Me: Look, man, I have run into friends at the store and been socially awkward as hell, please don't assign motive to me.

Though, really, I prefer to not run into clients out in the real world, and most of them generally pretend they have no idea who I am. So now I'm the bad guy who has to assure this person that I have nothing against her.
