Ah, Nostalgia!
Sep. 3rd, 2014 08:38 pmIn a fit of nostalgia and under the pretense of a housewarming gift to myself for a house I do not own yet, I just bought the first 16 hardcover vintage Trixie Beldens. I can't wait to read them and revel in the sweet innocence of my youth. I would squirrel away and read Trixie for days on end. I loved her so much! I wanted to be her.
In other news, I'm in the city again and today some doofus nearly ran me over. You know how you're driving in multi-lane traffic and someone starts drifting close to the line only to right themselves? Well, I thought that was what she was doing, except she just kept drifting. No signal, no checking of the blind spot. She just slid right on over ... into me, or she would have had I not been paying more attention than her. I didn't even get a chance to honk, because I really did think she was only drifting.
