I deem it a success. A slightly overbaked, delicious success.

I am thankful for so many things. At the top of my list - joblessness, because even though it's scary and stupid and nervewracking out here, I am not surrounded by anyone's dysfunction but my own. Other people's problems are not seeping into me and turning me into a miserable lump. I never have to look upon That Guy adjusting his junk ever again. I don't have to hear HiP's hacking cough. Etc, ad nauseam.

I am thankful for ceasefires.

I am thankful for fandom porn. ;)

I am thankful for my flist and all the wonderful things they bring on a daily basis.

I am thankful for my new baby nephew, though I have not met him yet.

I am thankful I have two ridiculously cute cats that bring me warm company on a cold day.

So, I am thankful. Life is in no way perfect, but perfection is boring.
