Supernatural ramblings
Sep. 18th, 2006 02:10 pm*sigh* Yet another disk has gone kablooey. Yeah, I know I should get with it and get one of those handy USB zip drives or whatever they're called. It's just that I'd also need to get an adaptor for my home computer (no USB on front of tower) and for at work, for the same reason. That relates to SPN because I was just about to work a bit on a story, or at least have it open to sneak sentences in now and again while working. Bah.
Other SPN ramblings:
Does Sam's hair drive anyone else crazy? What is it with some male TV characters having to have long, floppily annoying hair? Would he really be less emo with a slightly trimmed head o' hair?
Also, I did a quick workup at Hathor Legacy about the recent rumblings about how gender imbalanced the show is (especially compared to some). It's not the best article, but it could lead to interested discussion if anyone wants to hop on and give their 2¢.
My own opinion? I don't think gender balance is mandatory for TV shows, and in some cases, like Supernatural, it's not entirely necessary.

Sep. 18th, 2006 11:41 pmI really have been enjoying watching JA DA. I think the show was just shaping up when it was yanked. I hate when that happens. And who couldn't love Alec to bits by the end, but he always got the shaft in the attitude of everyone else. Poor, misunderstood boy. He should come over to my house. I get him.
