Jan. 4th, 2006 01:59 pmWent dress shopping at lunch, for I have nothing to wear to a wedding on Saturday. Found a delicious brown satin dress with aquamarine beading. It's so lovely. It's so got cap sleeves and my arms just are too fat to pull that off. How disappointing. I couldn't find any type of shrug or shawl to match.
Alternate dress is a 'fiesta' dress - spaghetti strapped black with a flouncy skirt. Around the rib area and again at the bottom are bands of red decorated with little skeletons. LOVE it. Would be tickled to wear it to a wedding. I ran out of time to try that one on, though, so have to take the late bus home because I'll be trying the somewhat irreverent dress on after work. ;)

Seriously, I think I might want it even if I don't wear it to the wedding.
