File under "Things I Should Never Admit"
Mar. 25th, 2005 07:00 pmI was flipping through the channels and landed on a rerun of 7th Heaven. Yeah, I know, corny. But Barry Watson's kind of a cutie.
Anyway, the scene is: Little girl is angry at neighbor boy for teasing her and keeps wanting to beat an apology out of him. She enlists her older brother, then older sister, then some friends to help her, each time the oneupmanship being met by the neighbor family adding to his posse. It builds through the episode until the final scene, where now college age brothers have become involved. The little ones start to scrap, the older ones break it up and try to spread wise words.
It works. The neighbor family starts to walk away. Then the college age neighbor guy makes a smartass comment about the size of the other family, and his little brothers follow suit.
Cue Xena music - yes, the real Xena music - and slow motion running as Family A attacks Family B. Complete with Xena yells.
Made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to lose a lung.
