I actually like the gloomy weather. It can get old, sure, but nothing is sweeter than a sunny day after a month of clouds. It's something to savor, like fine wine or chocolate, not taken for granted.

Absolutely! I came across this a couple weeks ago, on a meme: “I like to think I lead this complex emotional life, but then the sun comes out and I’m happy. Functionally, I’m no different from a large leaf.”

Today is back to overcast, and I'm all right with that. I really have to get to doctor - my shoulder is all but useless these days, so the lawn mowing I got done has done me in.

It's still a day of not raining, so it's good. Hah.
