Oh, how I love Martha Plimpton. I really do.
Poor Peter. I wonder if he even realized all the things he was doing were Walter things. But believing the deaths were all tied to him - with good reason - had to be really difficult to bear. I don't quite get why Newton just happened to be there while this psycho was conveniently doing things Peter might consider part of the fringe department. I might have missed a nuance or two.
Y'know, one thing I like about this show is that quite often the characters look a mess. Peter was a wreck through most of this episode. He looked so tired when he lay down with Band of Horses playin' (nice musical cue there, with the ghost lyric corresponding to him realizing someone was in the room with him).
Mr. Secretary - yes, we knew it was going to be Walternate, but I'm curious to see how Peter's going to react to this version, the true version, of his father. Even seconds in, it's clear he's about as far removed from Walter as a guy can get. Jeez, the look on Peter's face there.
Walter's breakdown in the grocery store - poor guy. And then wanting to find Peter, but not at the same time. Totally get that.
This ep felt a bit disjointed. I think it's only fitting, considering that little family is all busted apart at the moment.
Gah, between this and SPN (oh why are they on at the same time?), I predict I'll be dead soon.
