So if the guys ate at the buffet, does that mean they ate the cop/security guard/whatever? *herp* And what was that guy doing wandering around an abandoned motel like that in the first place? Random.
I enjoyed the episode, though it was a bit silly that all these powerful non-western gods got taken out so easily. I'm going with the theory that it has been years and years and years since enough people have really believed in most of them so they were out of shape.
Ah, kind of amusing to me how defensive Dean sounded when saying he wasn't going to give up. I know he was reassuring Sam (Why does Sam need that reassurance - last week he was all about having faith in Dean no matter what. Oh, writers.), but I swear he sounded annoyed that Sam even quirked an eyebrow about it. Pot-kettle, Dean. You can't be annoyed with Sam's doubts when you've been nothing but doubtful for years. ;)
I never loved Gabriel, but his death, too, seemed sudden and easy. I'm not convinced he went in there expecting to put up an actual fight, though - he didn't put up one at all. I think he only went back for one reason, and that was to give Dean and Sam the porno/info about the rings. And maybe also deliver a great speech to someone clearly too far off the rails to get it. It's too bad he didn't go to Michael and give that speech, though I kind of think Michael's just as much of the rails as Lucifer. And, personally, since Gabriel is the only archangel we've seen figure out on his own what God's deal with humans is, now I have to think God's an idiot for not loving him best. ;)
Sooo, where exactly did Kali go? They drove off with her and then poof.
Pestilence made me nearly toss my cookies. Seriously, that was almost as disgusting as all the disgusting eating they've done on this show. *shudder*
I'm awfully worried for Sam, based on the previews. That is all I will say about that.
Now I'm going to go to bed early with the hopes I will not get up in the middle of the night and get mauled by another door.
