As many fans complain, "Lost" is more about the questions than the answers. It's confusing and captivating. At least some things were (sorta) cleared up in the finale of the dark and hatch-centric second season, which runneth over with sci-fi mysteries that had viewers scratching their heads. Thankfully, the Powers That Be heard the fan feedback and they're doing something about it. In a recent podcast posted on the show's Web site, a producer revealed he was influenced by complaints that season 2 was "too mythologically dense." Expect to see a lot about relationships in future episodes, including a dose of much-needed romance.

I was going to give the show another shot, but...nah. The last line cinched it. "Much-needed," my left big toe.

But...but...of course you need romance on a show! Everyone knows guys and girls can't just be friends! *rolls eyes*

Remember that triangle that was there in the first season, with Kate, Jack and Sawyer? I really hated that. They're trapped, on an island with lots of bad things going on. Romance? Who's got time for *romance*!

Get to the gaddam STORY! I dropped the show about halfway into its first season because of the frustrating Questions-NEVER EVER-answered syndrome. Just like the X-Files. I ended up hating that show because of the sloppy not-answers.

They kinda missed the point, didn't they? "Too mythologically dense" means, to me at least, that viewers wanted some answers, not a romance.

I think this is a show that has a great concept, but they've become too entrenched in answering a question with five more questions, none of which make sense, in an attempt to keep the show's mystery ongoing, instead of coherent.

(then again, I kind of stopped watching back when they forgot their original cast and the mysteries they were dealing with and skipped over to telling the boring tailies' stories.)
