Update 3: Just kidding, we missed the delivery either because we couldn't load your items or no one was home. Please reschedule.

I ask you: if they said my delivery was two stops away AND I was home all freaking morning...what fuckery is this?

I was amped to get this thing built, man.

Anyway, so clearly that wasn't happening. Yesterday I called in an order for The Pickle's meds. "Will be ready tomorrow AM," they said. So, since I showed up at about 2 PM, that should have given them ample time. It's something that needs to be compounded and made on site, so I get it. It takes time.

No meds. "Gosh, so sorry, we were really busy yesterday."

I have to drive 20 miles to get to this vet's office. It's not a quick "do while on break" errand for me, and I was there. Do you think they might have been able to mix it while I was already in the area??? I have even planned on walking on the beach, so I was going to be around a bit. "We'll get this done on Monday for you," they said.

Now, it could be because of where my hormones are, but I got a little bitchy. To no avail, but damn. A little communication would have been nice. It's happened before, too. Tried to pick up meds right as I was leaving town once, and they gave me nine pills instead of the liquid mixture. Had zero idea how that happened. Couldn't make it while I waited, had to go a solid week without. I've also had some snafus dropping Walter off for boarding. The care is fine, but the communication and details falling through the cracks are starting to really make me angry.

Okay, I'll shut up again for another few weeks.
