The Rescues

Mama just stares at you when you speak to her, no hissing or anything. Wary. Today, though, she started closing her eyes a bit while I was in there chatting her up. One baby is always tucked in really close - s/he was the easiest to catch, no trap used. The other kitten was wild in the cage, but seems just scared now.
Mama was described as being an expert at parkour by one animal control officer. As of yet, only the ACOs are allowed to handle these cats.
Cross your fingers! I think if they test okay the kittens will be okay. I suspect mama has been around people in her life, as she picked a spot near a moderately foot trafficked place to have her kittens and isn't bitey or hissy, just terrified. Poor sweet girl.
I'm thinking of them as Amy (mama), Farrah and Fowler.
Or maybe it's Sally, Jesse and Raphael.
Or Melissa, Joan and Hart.
Okay, I'll stop now.
