Still have remnants of migraine, but I did manage to bake an acorn squash pie (I had this on hand rather than pumpkin). Alas, it was a sad, sad looking pie to start out with - crusts confound the you-know-what outta me - but I leave it to cool and what happens?
Abe! I know it was him for two reasons. 1) Roy and John never do this sort of thing. 2) Black fur at the scene of the crime. Now, John's tail is dark, but she is not one to bravely investigate anything not tacked down.
Oh well. I'm thankful for the extra calories saved.
