Unpaid photography gig
Oct. 18th, 2014 12:34 pmCoworker asked me if I'd take her daughter's senior portraits - not the official ones, but I think the school needs something to put in the yearbook and the deadline is end of month. I ... people are hard. I'm a bit nervous, but I agreed to do it. I've been researching on tips and tricks to make sure I do the best possible.
Also thought maybe if they're amenable I'd try some filters. All I've got are homemade ones, like cling wrap over the lens with a bit of vaseline or other goopy stuff (I used coconut oil) smeared on the edge. Found that the lens as it focuses makes it a bit of a crapshoot, but I think these turned out pretty well.

Abe, as per usual, refuses to pose.
