Jan. 19th, 2014 11:41 amI just made the error of trying to find decent Sherlock fic to read. There's too much to wade through. Bored.
Thought I'd update my master list instead. Looks like I've been slacking, even though I've written barely anything this year. I must write some E! - after completing a series/universe there the year before last, I kind of abandoned that seldom read fandom. Ah, well.
Anyway, recent adds, all H50:
Growing Pains. S/D, h/c, angst, fluff. PG-13. 4038 words. One doesn't go from big to small to big again without some ramifications.
If You Try Sometimes. S/D, AU, angst, internalized homophobia. 25400 words. Danny Williams, former Newark police detective, has found himself the owner of a gay bar in Waikiki, but in his heart he'll always be a cop. USN Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett came back to islands he called home as a child because of his father’s recent murder, but he stays as the head of Governor Jameson’s elite task force Five-0 out of loyalty to his new team. When a serial killer’s pattern emerges, it brings these two men together and neither expects the impact, personally as well as professionally, when their lives entwine.
Look at All the Happy Creatures. S/D, crack, angst, fluff. 16800 words. Inexplicably, Danny's weekends with Grace become filled with wildlife.
Done, Undone. Episode tag 4.07, angst. PG. 3813 words. Danny doesn't think Captain Grover is wrong; no one agrees with him. Things are said that cannot be taken back.
A'a I Ka Hula. S/D, first time, pining. R. 6969 words. Danny discovers Steve hulas, which eats at him for a while and then ultimately leads to something he really should have expected.
A Guy Walks Into a Bar. S/D, angst, h/c, permanent injury, first time, established relationship. R. 4552 words. Danny suffers a major injury and sometimes, well, sometimes there is not TV magic to make things all better.
Now I'm off to try my hand at homemade marshmallow fluff. I intend to make s'mores sandwich cookies tomorrow. Oh, yesssss. Pics if they turn out. :D
