Grumble

Okay, so now I know the reason I have so much trouble with Amazon.com. It seems that in the past I have been unable to remember passwords, and when prompted to change them, I've also been unable to accurately recall account specifics like zip code for shipping, etc. So changing a password became a huge, annoying and virtually impossible task, to the point I simply created a new account. With the same email address (wouldn't it be prudent of Amazon to discourage this? Target discourages it and I'm not confused over there.). So I've got three accounts but can only access one.

Except I somehow accessed one I don't know how to access now when I placed my last order. I don't know how that's possible. I don't have more than two possible shipping zip codes. I don't even have multiple credit cards. These are the questions they ask for when attempting to reset passwords. They also provide the credit card used when they send you the notice to track your package...and then when you click the link and try to log in with a password you can't remember, they walk you through the change your password BS, in which you put your CC info and billing zip code. Yet the system doesn't recognize even this information, which you know is right because it's in your fucking order confirmation!

I would LOVE to rid myself of two of these accounts, but Amazon refuses to help me with that. I keep getting these oh-so-helpful "click here to change password" links, which just makes me loop over and over because the system doesn't register the information I put in and I can't think of any other combinations. ARGH! See above and continue endless loop of frustration.

Now I just want to delete all of them I'm so fed up.

I was going to wander downtown today to get some shopping for new pieces for my fall/winter wardrobe, but:

1) I'm suddenly lazy.
2) I'm suddenly broke (seriously, where'd my last pay go?).
3) It's kind of hot outside and the streets are going to be crowded. I can't cut through Seattle Center because of Bumbershoot.
4) I'm suddenly broke.
5) The thought of trying on trousers depresses me; the actual trying on would probably kill me.

Sigh. So what should I do? The only act I really wanted to see at Bumbershoot happened yesterday while I was at work.

I feel a bit like I went on a drinking binge last night - I'm all gross and puffy-feeling. Only I didn't do that. The only thing I did differently yesterday was drink real coffee...

Meh.

I can't tell if I'm actually thinner or if the bottoms I'm wearing have always fit this loosely and it's a mindset kind of thing. Sometimes things just feel tighter even if they aren't, so the same could be true for being looser, right? Hmmm.

Once tagged by this entry, the assignment is to write a blog entry of some kind with six random facts about yourself. Then, pick six of your friends and tag them; no tag backs. This explanation should be included.

Yeah, so I'm squishing it in with random commentary on my pants.

1) I'm enough of a tree hugger that if it weren't so socially unacceptable (and, well, gross) I'd probably subscribe to the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" theory at work. I know, that's yucky, but we waste so much freaking water.

2) I have four brothers and six sisters, and I'm the second shortest in the family. (Well, until my mother shrunk. Now I think I've got her by a millimeter.)

3) If given the chance, I'd probably drive up to Vancouver and try to find a shooting location for a TV show or two (as in, on the day of an actual shoot). I'm a nerd like that.

4) If I don't drink at least 80 oz. (about 2.4 litres) of water a day, I feel off the next.

5) I have very bad social skills and totally admit that. (Which is, I think, a product of #2.)

6) My kingdom for dark chocolate.

Not tagging anyone, because I just...don't tag people, usually. Another random fact about me.
