You know what song I love and want to hear right now? Doves' Walk In Fire. It's very Supernatural-y. Seriously, the lyrics. I tell you. Funny, though, that songs which inspire me most with that show are usually the antithesis of what their unofficial soundtrack's composition. Hee.

I must be retarded because Imeem will now usually only play 30 second previews for me, and I have no idea how to fix that. I also can't get Last.fm to work the way I want it to and can't figure that site out either. Say I want to listen to Doves (because that's the case at this second), I'll put that in and Last.fm will not-so-helpfully play artists "similar" to Doves, but not Doves themselves. Argh. Sometimes it sucks to be so techno-stupid. Not that I can be arsed to do anything about that.

I have to go to the eye doctor today and I totally don't want to. It's sunny and bright out and the dilation is SO painful when the weather's like it is. Maybe it'll cloud over by this afternoon. Last time I swear I nearly took a header down the QA hill afterward.

Bliss has a window display of bath fizzies shaped like doughnuts, with icing and sprinkles. I swear, they come up with the best concoctions there. Too bad I don't enjoy baths in the spring/summer.

You know, it was weird. I just went to the eye doctor and he didn't make me do the dilation and eyedrops thing. He just used a wacky machine that took pictures of the insides of my eye. I thought maybe they'd gotten new technology since I last went in 2003, or something, but maybe he just didn't do it?

I'm waving on the permanent lj question, too. What to do, what to do!

They dilate me every visit. I think above a certain scrip they do it automatically, because they do the picture of the inside of my eyeball as well. I'm blind as a proverbial bat, and have a small tear on one of my corneas he always needs to keep tabs on.

You're not missing anything with LastFM. If they have Doves, they'll throw in some of them, too, but you will get "artists similar to" no matter what you do.

Yeah, it is. I like LastFM because I hear a lot of good stuff I'm not familiar with. But figuring out which tags would get me to that stuff? Not so simple.

Yeah, there is that. I generally enjoy the other artists thrown in the mix, and some of it is totally unfamiliar to me. I guess it makes sense, as it's more like an online radio station rather than a good place to search. Kind of.
