Hair woes.
I've been delaying making a hair appointment for a couple of reasons. Highest on the list is that I wasn't happy with the last cut, or rather my inability to style the last cut. Because of the bad experience last time, I'm nervous. I always stress that a style has to be easy and doable for an idiot like me, and if the hair stylist doesn't listen even just once I get worried. And this is how I end up with straight long hair all the time, btw. One or two bad cuts scare me into never going back.
So I hemmed and hawed and just called now. T is going on vacation, and they can't get me in until 7/12. I'm already a shaggy monster. I'm gonna look awful by then. Really and truly. And with no guarantees I'll look any better once I've been cleaned up and trimmed...
Wah, right? ;)

I don't mind change, really, as long as I can style it myself, and with minimal effort. To me, standing with a flat iron trying to make the flippiness stop flipping is too much work. Plus, if I succeed it is only for a little while. Five minutes, I've timed, where my hair looks smooth and flat and un-flippy. After that? Flippity do-dah!
For you, I'd suggest finding someone content with simple styling, and letting you keep said simple style for more than two haircuts. :)
Sigh, such drama about the follicles.
