Just call me Grace

I went for a walk yesterday, in the rain. About a mile into the jaunt, I was walking down a very slight decline and totally fell down on my ass. Whoever decided making pavement out of good-sized pebbles and putting them in a hilly, rainy city like Seattle should be shipped off to a remote, desert island somewhere, btw. The damned things are slippery as hell.

Anyway, today, while my butt does not hurt at all (sufficiently padded), but my left arm is killing me. I don't think I hit it when I fell and cannot figure out why I'm so sore. When I try to raise it, it makes a terrible, sick grinding and then it pops.

I can sympathise

ouch, sounds painfull and I can totally relate. On the camino they (dont know who they are, but they have a lot to answer for) insisted on paving the way into each city with these asthetically pleasing river rocks, creating a lovely uneven surface. Now considering that fifty percent of the pilgrims are sporting some kind of injury, I ask you, who the heck would lunge to the conclusion that a trecherously uneven surface is perfect for the weary walker??? Not at all bitter and twisted here!
And it sounds like you should get that arm checked out! Take it easy at least.
p.s sorry to hear about the adoption thing, that really bites.
