I love this song
Pyramid Song
i jumped in the river and what did I see?
black-eyed angels swimming with me
a moon full of stars and astral cars
all the figures i used to see
all my lovers were there with me
all my past and futures
and we all went to heaven in a little row boat
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
i jumped in the river
black-eyed angels swimming with me
a moon full of stars and astral cars
all the figures i used to see
all my lovers were there with me
all my past and futures
and we all went to heaven in a little row boat
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
I remember once shopping in Best Buy or something and they had this vid playing. I couldn't look away. I don't know what it is about the song, but it almost always has that effect on me.
Kind of like the vid for Just still makes me wonder WHY? Why is everyone lying on the street? after, what, the fifteen years since that vid came out. Dang.

Funny how vids can sometimes just capture your attention. I loved the first version of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lN7dpm-kbbQ and was really miffed when it was superceded by the US version, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ajy0w1XPJk8 which just does nothing at all for me. :(

I've found you're either a really, really BIG Radiohead fan or you think they should be dropped off the edge of the planet.
But that vid, man, would be perfection if they hadn't had the band in there sporadically, twitching around in true Radiohead (well, Thom Yorke) fashion.
And the Chasing Cars vid? I can't fathom why they made the second version. Really lessens the impact.
