Me either, hence the look-up. ;) People seem to use it almost randomly, which doesn't help us poor souls out here who have to figure things out contextually!

I asked lyraeinne that same thing many times recently until it finally stuck. *g* I also only recently realized what FWIW meant (for what it's worth) and a few others like that. There are still some that I don't get.

I can usually figure them out by context, but FTW is used all over the place and often without context. Heh.

Most of the time I see those things and wish people would just fricking speak English. ;)

My son made fun of me because i didn't know JIC - Just in case. As for FTW - I felt really smart when i figured that one out a few months back. Having a text addicted teen means i have to stay up to date with these things. XD

I would have had to look it up too and now I know I'm not really any wiser as it's not a phrase I can imagine myself ever needing to use....unlike useful phrases like "Holy Mountains of Crap Batman!" Now there's a phrase we all use every single day.... :::mutter:: (sarcasm really is the lowest form of wit isn't it?) *G*
