Like I said, I'm not patriotic...but I do so love fireworks. I thought the Elliott Bay display was great this year.

There should be fireworks every day.

I feel the same way. I love the fireworks. We didn't go to any of the big displays, but apparently it was canceled out at the beach anyway, because the surf was too high. They couldn't get the barge out there or something.

We just stood in our driveway for a few minutes and watched our neighbors all setting off fireworks. Some of them had the big ones that looked like professional fireworks, so we got to watch maybe 3 or 4 sets of fireworks going off in all directions, and then our closer neighbors were all setting off smaller ones in their driveways, so that was cool, too.

I think fireworks are not illegal here.
