Minuses and pluses
Minus: I didn't get the apartment. As excited as I was about it, I kind of suspected as much. The woman was on the phone with another prospective tenant as I completed the application, and she spoke very chummily with the person. Basically, assured her the apartment was hers without actually saying that. Still, I figured it couldn't hurt - if she were going to honestly go by credit/rental history, I would have had a fair shot.
Plus: I overpaid on my car loan and got almost $200 back. :)
Minus: I can't seem to load a fic at ff.net.
Plus (and TMI): the blemish I've had on my chin for two months has finally, officially gone away.

I guess it just gives me more time to tinker. ;)
I'm not that upset about the apartment, because I did figure it out quickly that I wouldn't get it. Still, I'd have loved to live there. The building is just so quaint.
