It's interesting that I find Jared Padalecki in his early Gilmore Girl days completely adorable (cute as a button, even), but I find Jensen Ackles in his Dark Angel days kind of...jailbait (oh, so pretty, but totally jailbait).

It's the mouth, seriously. I was telling bedelia77 the same thing earlier this week. A younger JA was really twink jailbait.

You all could be right. I feel like a perv for thinking he was so pretty in his early 20s, but I don't feel bad at all for thinking JP was cute.

I prefer him now. He's starting to get a bit more angular, so now he doesn't look like jailbait anymore.

LOL Jensen does look very young on Dark Angel, but Jared was *seriously* young (like 17?) when he started on Gilmore Girls. I think he looks adorably (little boy-ish) cute on that show.

I don't find Jensen (Alec) too much jailbait-y on DA, though. He seems too young, but...still, not that young. Too close in age to my son, though! lol What am I going to do when my son is in his 20s? *g*

Alec on DA just seems young and vulnerable in a "just figuring it all out" kind of way. In The Berrisford Agenda, he was sweetly innocent with Rachel, I thought, and it didn't come off like it was an act, really. Well, it was for Jensen, but I mean, I didn't think that Alec was just pretending there.

It's less about the age and more about something else. I just...feel guilty for thinking JA pretty when he was younger but have no problem at all thinking JP cute as a proverbial button.

Oh, I see. :-) I think maybe it doesn't bother me because I've been in so many youngish fandoms (Saved by the Bell, Dawson's Creek, Degrassi: TNG... *g*).
