That the channel switchup, etc. are going to muck up the dynamic of Supernatural and that I should really get this story finished before the season starts and kills my muse?

I really hate being such a cynic. I've seen too many PTBs that have taken a good thing and given it a swirly.

Because it's the nature of the business? That, and Dawn Osteroff is apparently a fan of adding things on her whims?

I worry that they'll try to add characters or something. Most of the other shows rely heavily on melodrama, I think, and ridiculous romantic interludes. Uh, don't want that on Supernatural, thanks.

I fear for shows on that channel. Smallville used to be fantastic. Then, over the course of the past two seasons, it's become a teen sex romp. It never was like that before. I mean, it's third season had a continuous storyarc which was fairly dark.

Then it was all about teh sex.

Yay teen angst. Blech.

I think all my shows are cursed.

Ironic that Smallville was better and less teen angsty when the characters were actually teens, eh?

Hollywood's vision is, IMO, very narrow when it comes to their audience, which is a shame because the audience has demonstrated time and again that they like intelligent TV.

Hollywood also has this frustrating tendency to "fix" what isn't broken.
