Everyone who profits from HMOs should be denied medical care until they get an ER to help them pull their heads out of their asses.

*Sometimes* you just need to be insistent with them, call doctors and see if you can find doctors who know how to work them, etc. I know people who get fairly good care from them, but they put a lot of work into it. It really sucks. Also, you might be surprised how much a doctor is willing to cut fees to see you without coverage, if it comes down to that. Seriously. They're not all fans of HMO's, either.

Yikes! Crap. Ay...er...possible skin cancer! They don't understand the urgency of that? A week can make a difference. Do they seriously expect you to wait for a month or two? That's nuts.
