HMO Hell
Me: I need to make an appointment - skin cancer in family history, need a mole-check pronto!
Them: Eh, if you already have it, what's another month or two?

*Sometimes* you just need to be insistent with them, call doctors and see if you can find doctors who know how to work them, etc. I know people who get fairly good care from them, but they put a lot of work into it. It really sucks. Also, you might be surprised how much a doctor is willing to cut fees to see you without coverage, if it comes down to that. Seriously. They're not all fans of HMO's, either.
