Dear M.,

You should know that by making passive-aggressive commentary every time I take water from the cooler, you will not prevent me from consuming the liquid my body needs. I will not dehydrate myself simply because everyone else does, or because you disapprove of how much water I drink throughout the day, which, for the record, is the daily recommended amount. It really isn't my concern that I am the only one in the house who hydrates properly and doing so does not make me a freak.

Yes, actually. Every time I go for water and he happens to be around - cause for loud comments about how the water is going to be drained because I'm there.

Honestly, I don't drink that much. It's just that rather than hoof it up and down the stairs all day long, I fill up a pitcher and bring it with me. Looks like more than my share, but isn't.

I have indeed. ;) It just so happens that I am a very clumsy person.

M. is Mr. Passive-Aggressive. Normally a decent fellow, but when he gets a bur in his bonnet about some random thing he becomes very annoying.

I've taken to beating him to the punch by announcing very loudly every time I go for a refill of my glass when I'm on front desk duty.
