Bloodbath

Blood Bath

Only one more day, and I choose my bloody bathroom floor to post. Haha. Except not so much. This toe bean will not stop ripping open! I need a kitten mitten for Roy. Though he doesn't seem to be in pain, every time he goes into the bathroom, it's a bloodbath.

Also, when I first viewed this house I really loved the bathroom tile. Then I had to start living with it. So much grout to look dingy all the time. I have come to despise it. What I'd like in there is the faux wood tile. Slightly darker color (think sandy tan) to hide my long dark hair (which I have no idea how I have any left, so much of it ends up on the floor), easier to clean, etc. Someday I'll take a tiling class and get 'er done. Truthfully, it's the plumbing and removal of items out of the room that intimidates me more than the actual work of tiling.

Poor Roy! Our Peter-cat was having the same trouble: one toe bean had got swollen and cracked. It would heal over, but then when Peter scratched in the litter box, the pad would open up again and we'd have little red dots all over the floor. We couldn't keep bandages on him, nor even a cone.

Our vet finally removed and stitched up the swollen bit and it seemed to be healing at last.

Aw, poor thing!

Have you seen the fake wood floor pieces that you just click together? I'm keeping that in mind for when I get my own place :)
