I'm a self-confessed Daniel whumper - but I find it bothersome when writers do it and don't let Daniel keep any of himself. He's not a wuss. So I try to keep that in mind if I'm inflicting harm on him, and I try not to whump for whumping's sake. Plot: it's important. ;)

Long story short (too late!), thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It helped recapture my love for the early seasons myself, which too often is tainted by what we got in later years. *sigh*
