You know, I didn't even think of that. I figured they were just trying to give the boys even time doing the nasty, I guess they think that's what us fangirls want to see? The demon/angel bit didn't even cross my mind (I had already clued in to the good/evil thing, they've made that pretty clear from the get-go)...
Maybe part of it was for the fangirls. Though, really, I'm a fangirl and I could live without sex on this show. Put Sam in a towel occasionally. Have Dean take off his shirt as he heads for the shower once in a while. That's all I need. ;)
But I think most of it was pounding the hammer of Sam's bad/Dean's good into us in a way they probably think is subtle.
