Oh, yeah. It's not just Lifetime, though, it's pretty pervasive across most entertainment content, which is nothing more than a reflection of our society. It's just concentrated and focused on in the Lifetime crap. Shoot, we see the same thing in Stargate; Sam as the tragic romantic victim of her job. *GAH*
