OTOH, it broke my heart when she was going to leave without even saying anything at all to him. Even if she didn't act like it, she's his only real friend besides Joshua, who also left without telling him.

I know! I was all, like, but...but what about Alec? Especially since he'd asked Max to meet him at Joshua's. Then he got there and no one was around. Jeez.

I think he changed quite a lot from beginning to end, but in a logical way. And I find myself more interested in his story than Max/Logan...though as far as ships go, I don't mind that one; it was integral to the story from the very beginning.

*sigh* But it's almost over already.
