Huh. It took them a lot longer than I expected to find a replacement baby.

(Anybody ever read Joan Aiken's A Cluster of Separate Sparks? It's a mystery written in the 70s about a young woman working on a millionaire's private island in a school for the children of celebrities. She finds a second group of children on the other side of the island who look almost exactly like the first group, only there's something "wrong" with each of them. It turns out that famous people hire this guy to find "twins" when their own babies are born with "unsuitable problems" like deafness or blindness or birth defects. Although you don't find out until the end, she's trying to find her nephew, who was the replacement for some famous movie star's son.

Not that I'm suggesting that that sort of thing REALLY happens... :)
