Yeah, Mitchell as a character doesn't really ping my radar, either. I don't find him terrible, I just find I don't have much interest in getting to know him both onscreen and through fanfic writers' interpretations.

But the flyboy is still better than Vala, in my book.

If I do read fanfic these days, it's original team or J/D slash (not set in a time after Jack's assignment in D.C.).

I'm just depressed that I can't really do automatic reads by authors I used to be able to do that with.
