July

What a month. Well, it started out with a bang but was pretty uneventful after that. Other than lingering tenderness in my elbow, I can't lean on it and if I bump it - youch, you'd never know an automobile plowed into me.

I am exhausted, though. I have been for months. Probably a bit of depression? I dunno. Anyway, in that regard I am my father's daughter. We just keep plugging away despite how we feel physically or emotionally. Not super healthy.

Speaking of father, the guy won't answer his phone. I have to get reports on his wellbeing secondhand from my sister. :(

Sand and Feather

Gosling in the Weeds
^Andersen got it wrong, there is nothing ugly about this "duckling". What a cutie little gosling!

Yellow Dahlia
^I just love dahlias, and this one unfolding ... so cool.

Graffiti

In other news, the latest new (to me) old show watch is Picket Fences. I have long considered David E. Kelley to be a fanfic writer. An entertaining but sometimes cringe fanfic writer. In watching old shows, all of them in that era have a marked fanfic vibe. It's been interesting, but clearly a product of its time. You know, the "gasp, my daughter might be a lesbian!?! the horror!!" episode, etc.
