I'm ashamed to admit that a couple of weeks ago when I was out doing yardwork and I had Walter tethered in the front yard, he broke free of his collar (funny thing, breakaway collars do break away!) and ran right for the postal carrier. That dog is such a stereotype - he loathes all delivery people. He did get her calf, but did not break skin and though I told her to please not feel bad about reporting the incident, she did not.
However, ever since then I have received precisely zero pieces of mail. Not even junk. A package I had delivered last week was "undeliverable" and I had to retrieve it at the post office. Another package I received an email notification that it was deposited in my mailbox never was.
I wouldn't fret so much about it, as I don't get much real mail, but for the fact I have to renew my car's tabs by end of month and I am waiting for that envelope to arrive.
Is it just me, or is this the timing too perfect for it to be coincidental?
