Pretty Shiny Things
I'm not into wearing jewelry, or at least I haven't been for the past 10 years or so. I hate my fingers, they're chubby. My ears, honestly get infected unless I'm wearing actual gold (courtesy of having my older brother pierce my ears at age 7 -- I can still remember he held a potato behind my frozen little ear and when the earring stud hit the potato I thought the crunching noise was my ear). Necklaces are pretty, but they make me feel uncomfortable for some reason and make my neck itch.
Hah. That seems to be over. A friend introduced me to this website filled with pretty, sparkly, silvery things and I fear I'm addicted.
I'm wearing a ring from there right now, and I gotta say despite the scarily low price it is actually decent quality. And I just bought a pendant for my niece, with her birthstone. I think I've returned to self-ornamentation.
